The Year End Performance Fee for all Pre-School students is $140. If your child participates in the Pre-School Performance your account will automatically be debited a Performance Fee of $140 on January 15, 2024 unless our offices are notified otherwise. For children participating in more than one class or dancer in the Pre-School Performance, there is an additional fee of $95 per student, per class. Year End Performance fees for students registering after January 15th are due at the time of registration.

Admission to all Year End Performances requires one ticket per person per seat. Information regarding ticket prices and ticket sales will be available closer to the performance dates.

We recommend that all parents of pre-school performers wait for their child in their designated changing area during dress rehearsal.

All students in the Pre-School Performance should arrive at the theater in costume and tights with their hair worn in its designated style (check with your child’s teacher).

Students are responsible for providing their own shoes and should wear the shoes they normally wear in class. We recommend that shoes be labeled with the child’s name and carried in a bag.

We recommend a simple application of blush, mascara and lipstick. A little bit of make-up keeps the dancers’ faces from being “washed” out by the bright stage lights. Make-up should be worn for the performance only, not the dress rehearsals. We recommend that the make-up for the performance be applied at home.

All students in the Pre-School Performance should arrive at the theater in costume with their hair worn in its designated style (check with your child’s teacher) and should arrive by 11:30am. PLEASE NOTE: All students ages 3 and UP enrolled in unlimited classes will perform in NO MORE than TWO dances. All students enrolled in Unlimited Classes for Creative Movement will perform in ONE dance.

All students will remain backstage during the Pre-School Performance and will be supervised and escorted by Southern NH Dance Theater staff and classroom escorts. This is a short program with no intermission. Parents can pick up their children in their assigned changing area once the entire performance is over. Your child’s assigned changing area will be the same for both the dress rehearsal and the performance.

Please no flash photography or unauthorized recording of the performance. Our Year End Performance will be professionally recorded. Information regarding the purchase of digital recordings will be available through Southern NH Dance Theater.

Please be sure your child has eaten and used the bathroom prior to dress rehearsals and the performance. Food is not allowed in the theater. Families may bring water and snacks that are not messy to be eaten in the dressing areas only. Sorry, no eating while in costume! All dress rehearsals are closed to families and the general public.

Only designated chaperones need to stay. Students should be dropped off and picked up in the theater lobby, not in the auditorium. As performers arrive, a chaperone will direct or escort students to an assigned changing area, which will be the same for both the dress rehearsal and the performance. After rehearsal, performers will await their ride in the theater lobby. For safety reasons, we do not allow students to wait outside the building for their ride.

All students in the Saturday Matinee Performance will need to arrive at the theater wearing street clothes carrying his/her costume with their hair already done in the designated style (check with your child’s teacher). We ask that all Matinee Performers not arrive or leave the theater in costume. We recommend labeling all items (costumes, shoes, tights and accessories) and carrying them in a bag. Costumes may travel well on hangers & covered with plastic.

Students are responsible for providing their own shoes and should wear the shoes they normally wear in class. We recommend that shoes be labeled with the child’s name and carried in a bag.

Make-up is not needed for the dress rehearsal. For the performance we highly recommend dancers visit Jam Cosmetics Website, www. jamcosmetics.net for easy video instructions on applying stage make-up. Younger dancers should view video for “Young Dancer”.

All students will remain backstage during the performance. Students from Ballet Levels 1 thru 4, who are only in the first half of the Matinee Performance and would like to watch the remaining portion of the show once they have performed, will be escorted by a chaperone (during intermission) to a designated area in the audience to view the rest of the show.
