During the summer months, Southern New Hampshire Dance Theater offers a daily open ballet class along with a variety of other classes including adult ballet and tap.
Please note our studios will be closed June 28 – July 6 and August 27 – September 1.
All open summer classes are drop-in format, so you only pay for the classes you attend!

Tuition Policies
ALL TUITION PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE. Class payments are payable by credit card or bank draft through our SNHDT Mindbody app. If tuition payment is denied or returned for insufficient funds, additional fees may apply.
Ballet
Girls: leotard in any color/style, pink tights and pink ballet shoes. Hair should be in a ballet bun.
Boys: white athletic t-shirt with black tights and black ballet shoes.
Adults: There are no restrictions on the dance apparel worn in class.
Modern & Contemporary
Girls: leotard in any color/style, solid colored footless or capri tights (no tan or pink tights). Bare feet, no shoes. Hair must be pulled back from face in ponytail or similar style.
Boys: t-shirt with black tights, jazz pants, or shorts. Bare feet, no shoes.
Jazz & HipHop
Girls: leotard in any color/style with solid colored tights or jazz pants. Jazz Oxfords or sneakers (no street sneakers permitted). Hair must be pulled back from face in ponytail or similar style.
Boys: white athletic t-shirt with jazz pants or shorts. Jazz Oxfords or sneakers (no street sneakers permitted).
Tap
Girls: leotard in any color/style with solid colored tights or jazz pants. Black tap shoes. Hair must be pulled back from face in ponytail or similar style.
Boys: solid-colored t-shirt with jazz pants. Black tap shoes.
Our Policies
- Drop-in classes require advanced booking. Any student or adult attending a drop-in class without advanced booking will be charged a single-class payment fee through their MindBody account.
- Class cards and single-class purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Cancelation Policies and Fees
Advanced bookings to drop-in classes can be canceled through the SNHDT mobile app or Mindbody account online.
- Early Cancelation – Class cancelations that are made up to 90 minutes prior to the start of class. Early Cancelations will restore the class purchase to the student’s account wallet or class card.
- Late Cancelation – Class cancelations that are made within the 90-minute window prior to or after the start of class time. Late Cancelations will be charged a non-refundable single class fee or deduct a single class from their class card.
- NO SHOWS – No-shows are considered as a “Late Cancelation” and will be automatically charged a non-refundable single class fee or have a single class deducted from their class card.
Class Observation
Parents and guests are welcome to view their children’s classes at any time through the studio’s observation windows. Those who wish to observe in the classroom must receive permission from the instructor in advance.
Class Cancellation Due to Bad Weather
During inclement weather, Southern New Hampshire Dance Theater (SNHDT) will post any cancellations on the radio station website www.WZID.com. Students and parents may also call our office at (603) 263-3803, where a message will be left on the school answering machine in the event that classes are canceled. When possible, makeup classes will be scheduled for those classes canceled during bad weather.

Summer Intensive
Ages 10+
The Summer Intensive is a 3-week program designed for Intermediate to Advanced level students looking to build on their technique and experience different styles of dance with guest teachers and faculty.
All students are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis and no audition is required to enroll. Scholarships are available! Click here to learn more!
Program runs Monday through Friday 9:30am to 4:30pm – approximate time. An optional Saturday class is offered each week.
