The Program
No previous experience is needed! The SNHDT Summer Dance Camp offers students ages 5-8 the opportunity to study ballet, tap, jazz and student choreography for one full week.  Enrollment for this program is limited - students are accepted on a first come, first served basis. We offer both a half-day program and a full-day program.

Tuition
The tuition fee for the 2009 Summer Dance Camp is $145.00 for Half-Day and $300.00 for Full-Day (age 6-8 only). The full tuition and completed registration form may be dropped off at our studios during our regular office hours or can be mailed to our P.O. box listed below.  Sorry, we cannot accept registrations by phone.

What To Wear?
Girls should wear a leotard (any color) and pink tights, and will need pink ballet slippers and black tap shoes. Jazz oxfords (for Jazz class) are optional. Girls must have their hair secured back in a bun or similar style.

Boys should wear dark-colored sweats (or shorts) and a white T-shirt. They will need ballet slippers or jazz oxfords and black tap shoes.

Children staying for the full-day program should bring comfortable clothing to wear after the morning dance activities.

What To Bring?
Parents should supply students with a light snack and drink (water is best) for break times.  Water and juice are available for purchase at our studios.  Children staying for the full day program should bring lunch and an afternoon snack.

When To Arrive
We would like to remind parents to please be prompt when dropping off and picking up children. If someone other than the designated parent or guardian is picking up your child, please be sure to notify us in writing. Our studios will be open shortly after 9 AM. The first class class begins at 9:30 AM.  Children attending the half-day program should be picked up shortly after noon.  Children attending the full-day program may be picked up between 4:00 and 5:00 - but no later than 5 PM.  To avoid added confusion in what will be a very busy office area (and to help children stay focused), viewing or visiting will be restricted to fifteen minutes at the beginning and end of class. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated, and will help us run a smooth and fun program for our students.
