Carlos Molina

Carlos Molina trained at the Colombian Institute for Classical Ballet for eight years and at Houston Ballet Academy for one year. Upon completion of his training, Mr. Molina joined Ballet de Cali in Colombia, before moving on to become a principal dancer with Hartford Ballet. In 1998, he joined American Ballet Theatre and was promoted to soloist in 2001. Molina joined Boston Ballet as a principal dancer in 2004. A short list of his repertoire includes principal roles in Giselle, Firebird, Apollo, The Taming of the Shrew, Onegin, Romeo and Juliet, Cinderella, The Sleeping Beauty, Serenade, The Nutcracker, Coppélia, Pillar of Fire, and Carmen. Mr. Molina is married to Boston Ballet principal dancer Erica Cornejo.
